no excuses

so yesterday i explored the internet for possible bomb shelters of inspiration to dive into in the very likely event that i would insist i had no idea what to write about and would then fulfill that statement and quit before i started. so i came across dictionary.com's Word of the Day. i didn't anticipate using my lifeline so early in the game, but nonetheless, todays word:

agrestic \uh-GRES-tik\ , adjective. 1. Pertaining to fields or the country; rural; rustic.

nice word, right? i liked it, too. unfortunately, it is also the name of the subdivision that houses Nancy Botwin on Weeds, a show that employs some friends of mine. in the writer's room. which, if you read yesterday's post, reminded me of unglamorous reason #1 of why i have been putting off writing at all.

so in the interest of inflation of mojo, i will finally commit to writing the story of what may be the greatest day of my life, and continues to be something people stay curious in over and over and over again, which blows away all 5 reasons of why i'd put it off.

so, i wrote for three hours and didn't even finish the entry. this is hard, and i am in love with it.

more to come.
